UK Pole Dance Day - Pole Confidence, West Sussex.
It is our first birthday and we are celebrating with a couple of exciting events; Previously the privilege of May Pole Dancers, this bank holiday weekend is now the UK's Pole Dance Day! We are holding two events in aid of St Catherine's Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support - both charities are doing a fantastic job helping my mum beat lung cancer. So what's happening... Saturday 1st May 2010 - come along for a 1-2-1/private taster session/ cheaper practice session in my studio (Jabba) in East Grinstead. Each session is 45 minutes long. Suggested donation £5 - £10. The morning is already fully booked. These slots are still available - 1st come, 1st served!: 1) 11.45 - 12.30 Sunday 2nd May 2010 - come along and play on the poles at our 'pole confidence pole jam' open to all - from absolute beginners to more advanced students. Come and see our new venue at the East Grinstead Sports Club - we have a beautiful room which can hold up to 7 poles and has its own bar which will be open on the day. Pole Confidence girlies will be on hand to assist with moves and to answer any questions. There will also be demonstrations of different pole routines. If you or any of your friends have wanted to try pole fitness this is your perfect opportunity! Suggested donation: £5 - £7.50. Times: 10am - 4pm What to wear: something comfortable, ideally legs should be bare, no lotions, oils or moisturisers please!
