R- Pole ‘One Trick Wonder’ Competition:
10th & 11th July 2010 at Taylor Retreat.

Pole Passion will be hosting a fun R-Pole ‘One Trick Wonder’ competition on both days. Think of a handstand competition you used to do with your friends? Then think again of a holding a move off the floor, on the pole - competition.
One move on the pole with the whole body off the floor!! Who can hold their move the longest? Purely for fun (and fitness) open to all ages males and females
The Rules in brief:
- Hold a move on the R-pole for as long as you can without contact with the mat or boss
- The winner is the person who can hold their one move the longest
- The move must be started by holding the pole
- The time starts when all the body if off the floor
- The pole can not be clasped by the inner thigh, forearms or calf area which will help grip the pole
- You may have 3 attempts of your move & the best time will be logged
- The move must be static (pole hold) and the body must not move a full rotation around the pole, however, slight movement will be allowed
- Please remove all high heeled shoes
- Anyone can enter - Anyone can win - Open to females & males of all ages.
- Contestants with moves over 5 minutes long will be placed in 'a pole off' if necessary.
- There will be a singles category & a doubles each day!!
As this is a fun competition, on the day of the event you decide whether you want to ‘jump up’ and have a go! No pre auditioning no pre registering!!!

Miss Pole Fitness UK Amateur Championships

The Rules in brief:
- Singles category only
- Those new to Pole who have been pole dancing for less than 1 year
- No inverts in routines
- Maximum 3-4 minutes routine on and around the pole
- Marks awarded for costume interpretation to song
- No instructors!! *However trainee or assistant instructors are allowed to apply

The Rules in brief:
- Singles category only
- Open to those that have been poling more than one year
- No restrictions on moves or combinations
- Open to instructors
- May not have entered the Miss Pole Dance UK professional category
- Age of applications 16+ on the date of the competition
Up until this year there has only been the Miss Pole Fitness UK Amateur competition (that strictly specifies no inverts!) and the professional category allowing anyone to enter, but nothing as yet for an in between intermediate level. As there is a huge leap from MPFUK Amateur category to MPDUK Professional category, we feel this year is the right time to add this in between category making our competition structure available for those who want to progress onto the professionals that haven’t had a great deal of previous experience/confidence in performing and competing.
