JLN Pole Fitness Summer Party and Pole Dance Competition.

What a fantastic event we all had at JLN Pole Fitness Studio on Saturday 19th June 2010.

We held a charity event in aid of the Amy Leigh Barnes Foundation. Amy parents attended on the night, it was so lovely to have them with us. Amy’s mum gave a beautiful, very emotional speech about her daughter; it touched the hearts of all of us. The event was packed with Pole performances from our students and instructors.

We had a very special Pole performance on the night performed by Amy’s step dad John. John had only had a handful of practise sessions and we have to say he was brilliant! There wasn’t a dry eye in the studio, he was so brave to do this and it was a beautiful tribute to his daughter Amy. See Johns performance by clicking here. Instructor Teresa also performed her stunning tribute, click here to view.

We also held our first pole competition for our students. Our Judges for the competition were Councillor David Chadwick, Sam Remmer (PDC) Sarah Collinge and Sid Remmer (PDC). It was a tough decision for them to make. Our Intermediate winner is Natalie Banks who won the title JLN Pole Princess 2010. Our Advanced winner is Lauren Kenealy who won the title JLN Pole Queen 2010, congratulations to them both. All contestants were fabulous; they had all worked really hard with their routines.

We would like to thank everyone involved for making the night so special. Thank you to everyone who made donations and gave prizes for our raffles. We raised £1529.10 on the night which is fantastic!

We all had a lot of fun, photos from polexposure will be added soon to the JLN Pole Fitness Studio FB page.
