What is the Pole Dance Community (PDC)?
The PDC was set up in May 2009 primarily to provide self regulation and promote best practice within the fitness pole dancing industry, but also to provide safe, educated advice to new students..
We have since grown to represent over 200 independent pole dance instructors who are united by our strict code of conduct.
More than 500 pole dancing students from around the world have gained recognition with our pole dancer grading scheme.
We are a democratic and predominantly female community who decide among ourselves what is best for our community.
We have no leaders, just common sense and consensus.
For Pole Dance Instructors
Membership is open to all who can abide by the code of conduct.
We also need to physically check your pole dance instructor's insurance documents, first aid qualifications, pole dance experience and fair pricing policy before we welcome you on-board and provide you with your PDC Approved logo.
We want you to join us and there is just a small admin fee each year to cover the time taken in checking your documents.
For Pole Dance Students
Grading provides tangible feedback on your pole dancing progress and gives you something to show off to your friends!
By combining the wisdom and experience of our 200 member instructors we have developed a universal syllabus and grading scheme that is recognised throughout the fitness pole dance world. We provide you with an official grading book (your pole dancing passport) in which your gradings are recorded. We can also provide a certificate acknowledging your success.
You can grade with a PDC instructor or online by sending us a video of your dancing - its easy and fun :-)
Buy your grading membership here - do it now!
All new grading members now recieve a FREE syllabus cd-rom of over 300 pole dance moves.

We do this so you don't have to. </p> <p>Because of this strict approval system, we refuse nearly 60% of all new applications! </p> <h4><strong>This means that when you choose to be trained by a Pole Dance Community Approved<br /></strong><strong>instructor, you know you are getting the best.</strong></h4> <p> </p>
